I’m a wife, a new mom and the fitness trainer behind THE SWEAT MOVEMENT.
Being active has always been a big part of my life. I’ve danced almost all my life and played sports. But I’d say that my true fitness journey started after graduating university and I started to work in TV production in 2011. Let’s just say that working on television sets for 12 a day, eating all the junk food off the craft table and being super inactive, I gained weight. I was unhappy with the way I looked and felt so I joined the gym and fell in love with group fitness classes. Nine months later, I received my FIS certification through CanFitPro and I was teaching classes. Fast forward several years, I am now also certified Healthy Eating for Weight Loss Coach and Personal Trainer.
I created The Sweat Movement to inspire self love through a healthy and balanced lifestyle. On my blog I’ll share all of the ways that I live a happier, healthier lifestyle through exercise and great food. No diets here! I believe wellness and self care should be simple and sustainable, allowing you to love what you see in the mirror.
